The IBIOLI, as part of its Activity Series 2015, invites its members, friends and members of the public to a one-day family-friendly visit to the Greatest Bird Sanctuary in Ireland, on the Great Saltee Island, off Wexford Coast. The island is very popular with both day-trippers and birdwatchers alike. These Islands are privately owned and are one of the world's major bird sanctuaries.
The IBIOLI, as part of its Activity Series 2015, invites its members, friends and members of the public to this free admission guided tour of the Natural History Museum and Dead Zoo. During the 1.5 hours, the keeper of the museum, Nigel Monaghan, will take you on a tour of the two main floors of the building.
The IBIOLI, as part of its Activity Series 2015, invites its members to partake in "The 'Bloomin' Burren – Flowers in the National Park" event that is organised by Burren Beo, and guided by NPWS. The IBIOLI greatly appreciates the co-operation of Burren Beo.
The first walk of the 2015 Burren in Bloom festival and the May Burrenbeo walk will involve an early start with Gordon D’Arcy leading a group on a dawn chorus walk. Gordon is a Burren resident, natural historian, author & wildlife artist and will point out some of the Burren’s birds in the early morning light – they’ll hopefully put on a good show.
